When you purchase Nexus, we collect your email address and payment details (processed securely via our payment providers — we do not store card numbers). We also collect your Discord username if you join our community server. We do not collect browsing data, Edgenuity credentials, or personal academic records.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your email to deliver your license key and send important service updates. Payment information is used solely to process your transaction. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not create profiles based on your usage.
3. Discord Logging Feature
The Discord logging feature in Nexus sends activity data to a Discord webhook URL that you configure. This data is sent directly from your browser to your Discord server — Nexus does not receive, store, or process this data on our end. You control what gets logged and where it goes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with payment processors (Square, Stripe, PayPal, etc.) solely for transaction processing. These providers have their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your email and purchase records for as long as necessary to provide support and maintain records of transactions. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us on Discord — we will remove your information within 30 days.
6. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. License keys are hashed and stored securely. Payment processing is handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party processors — we never handle raw card data.
7. Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies for session management and analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly.
8. Children's Privacy
Nexus is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via our Discord server. Your continued use of Nexus after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
